Small-holding farmers in East Africa face significant challenges in accessing reliable irrigation solutions, limiting their ability to grow crops year-round and maintain consistent income.
We developed an eco-friendly solar pump irrigation system with innovative payment options that make it accessible to farmers with limited financial resources. The solution combines sustainable technology with flexible financing to address both environmental and economic challenges.
By replacing diesel pumps with solar-powered alternatives and implementing a pay-as-you-go model, we've created a solution that improves agricultural productivity while reducing environmental impact.
